The information on this Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding service agreement unless a written contract or proposal has been signed by both parties.
Free estimates are provided following an on-site consultation. All estimates are based on the conditions observed at the time of the visit. Riverhead Insulation reserves the right to adjust pricing if site conditions differ materially from those described at the time the estimate was prepared, or if the scope of work changes at the customer's request.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing. Pricing is subject to change after that period due to material cost fluctuations or scheduling availability.
Once a service appointment is scheduled and confirmed, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee, at the discretion of Riverhead Insulation.
We will make every reasonable effort to arrive at the agreed-upon time. In the event of an unavoidable delay, we will contact you as early as possible. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, supply chain issues, or other circumstances outside our control.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the start of the project. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, as outlined in the written proposal.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in the written proposal or invoice. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by New York State law, whichever is less.
Riverhead Insulation warrants that all work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Any defect in workmanship reported within 12 months of job completion will be corrected at no additional charge, subject to an inspection confirming the defect is related to our work and not to subsequent changes, misuse, or conditions outside our control.
This workmanship warranty does not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to flooding, structural movement, pest infestation, or improper use of the property after project completion.
Material warranties are governed by the terms of the respective product manufacturer. We will provide manufacturer warranty documentation upon request.
